    Hi Rishi,

First of all, congratulations and welcome to xBhp. There are 2 main kinds of helmet locks available in the market, one is the chain lock type and the other is a black plastic lock that can be fitted onto the bike either on the grab rail or the sari guard or the front crash guards.

However, if you are carrying an expensive helmet, it is not advisable to leave it on the bike since these locks are not that reliable.

CBR250R has a small chain like stuff and 2 hooks under the seat, this helps to keep the helmet locked securely. Aargee sir or Stig sir had posted a pic of the same on CBR250R ownership thread.
Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.

a black cable like thing comes with your bike and there is an underseat hook which is meant to be the helmet lock. but the cable is too small to go around your helmet's jaw part. so buy a cable lock ( will cost you anything from rs30-rs600) and wrap it around the jaw of the helmet and pass the cable from the lock and hook it under your seat! thats how i do it! not 100% anti theft. but no1 in india wants to steal a helmet so no problem!
