  • Difference between Semi Syn and Full Synthetic Oil / Good Bajaj Showroom in Hyderabad

    Dear Friends,

May I request you guys to explain what is the difference semi synthetic and full synthetic oil and when do we need to change between them.

I am planning to buy Pulsar 200 NS when returning to India in 10 days and following is my plan for oil changes:

    1. Go with Bajaj DTSi Oil for 100 Kms
    2. Have an oil change on the first Service Bajaj DTSi Oil(~500 Kms)
    3. Have an oil change on the first Service Bajaj DTSi Oil(~1200 Kms)
4.Have an oil change on the first Service Bajaj DTSi Oil(~2000 Kms)
    5. Switch to Full Synthetic oil from 2nd service

Can you please suggest if this plan looks ok or can something better can be done.

Also can anybody from Hyderabad let me know from where can I buy a good looking wind cheater, searched some places but not getting a clue.

I live near Nizampet so decided to take the bike from Kukatpally Bajaj Showroom, can you guys please suggest if that is the correct place to take the new bike( I basically fear that they may give me the test ride bike and from the ownership thread I have learned that there is no ideal way to identify if the bike is new).

Sorry for the bigger post, but I really need this info because I am badly in love with my NS(still 10 days to go )
