  • Headlight Assembly for 2009 Yamaha Gladiator SS125

    Hello Everyone,

I had an accident on Friday last week and though by the grace of the Almighty God I escaped with only minor scratches and a Muscle Pull on my left shoulder, My bike is severely damaged at the front. The front Forks and the handle bar are bent slightly and headlight assembly and the fairing are completely damaged. My mechanic has told me that the forks and the handle bar bends can be corrected accurately but the headlight assembly and the fairing need to be replaced.

I inquired with the local Yamaha service centers at Chennai (Paras and Ambal Yamaha) about the headlight assembly and the fairing and they are saying that the items are out of stock and it will take more than a month to get them from factory.

It would be very helpful if someone can help me source the headlight assembly from other cities. If this is not possible, then I would like to know whether some other bike's (probably Yamaha SZ) headlight assembly will fit my bike. If not will a normal round headlight a la first gen pulsars fit the gladiator?

    Please advise.

    Thank You.

    Regards,
    emzee

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I have bought the Glady SS125 model headlight itself after intensive search in multiple spares dealers. The issue is now resolved. Please close this thread.

      Thank you.
