  • Yamaha r15 v2 electric problem

    problem with r15 v2

    1) sometimes when I switch on the pilot light , it's take a while before it lights up

    2) sometimes when I switch from pilot to headlight , the whole lights go off for 3-4 second before the pilot + headlight turns on again

    3) yesterday I switched on the bike , it took 7-8 seconds for the self diagnostic test to startup

    4) earlier I had posted that
    when riding the bike
I switched from lower to upper
my bike was just shutting down.

what may seem to be the problem
    1) battery
    or
    2) electrical system
    or
    3) leakage somewhere ?

FYI : when the above mentioned problems occur I try to switch on the headlight on battery , plus side indicator plus the horn and they doesn't show much stress

only mod I have done is installed led pilot lamps ( I had put hid for a month initially but removed them fearing battery load issues )

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Maybe a weak battery or some electrical fault.
Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.
