  • Looking for touring gear in Chennai

    Hey everyone.

I am about to start a one month tour of South India with my girlfriend, beginning in Chennai. We are looking at bikes now, but my main problem is finding the riding gear. I can't find what I want in shops. I bought myself a Cramster riding jacket and gloves, but my girlfriend can't find women's jackets anywhere. I've been to a few areas where there have clusters of helmet shops but I can't seem to find what I need.

DOT or ECE helmets (real ones). Any recommended brands? Safety first, style don't really care about. Want to spend < 4k on each helmet.
Women's riding jackets (for touring, not heavy leather ones) and pants
    kneepads
    bike rain cover
waterproof spray for my saddle bags

    Any help is appreciated.

    Matt

Genuine DOT approved helmet sells for over 4K+ unless you don't mind picking up used ones

Simple solution - use a large plastic cover & wrap the contents inside your saddle bag; they'll be bullet proof even if you saddle is drenched
