  • Pulsar 200 vibration issue

    hello guys,
i have pulsar 200 2007 oct, model, i have recently changed its silencer to joel's ffe and BB kit changed. now its 210 cc. i can feel the difference.
but now issue is over 55kmph (4500 rpm) bike vibration has increase lot. i also have got carb tuned but still same issue.
can any body help on this? do i need to change the carb also to p220 cabr? if yes then how i will deal with auto chock as its not in my stock p200.
or any other rubber bushes or some thing which i can use to reduce vibrates?

    thanks in advance.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

since this issue has arised after getting joel's parts, i think you should inform him first and try to ask solutions from him. it is the best approach.

we have not seen your bike and don't know what kind of vibrations you are talking.

where do you feel those vibrations, footpegs/ handlebars...??

check and tighten all engine foundation bolts, if possible replace the bushes or whatever they are called.

i did ask to joel, he said i am running on lean so i made it rich also but no change. its after 55+ kmph speed or we can say 4000+rpm. also vibrations are from all over the bike specially it feels like bike has much energy but its not coming out properly.

then joel told me to swap the p220's carb, but again its costly 2000k+ and also there is auto chock in it which is not in my p200 model so how will i deal with it?

try up-jetting, for the time being. or try riding with half choke on and feel the difference..

But I think you'll get better answers from Joel himself.
