  • Power problem With Honda Unicorn

    Hi All

I Own a 2005 model Honda Unicorn. Done about 45K Kms till date. from the last 6 months i am experiencing substatial loss in power. Especially in higher gears. Its a real task to ge the bike to go beyond 50/60KMPH. Initial Pick is not an issue. I have been servicing the bike at regular intervals. changed the air filter. Use Motul Semi synthetic oil. Any one have any clues as to what could be the possible problem.

    Cheers

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      Check these
Clutch Plates, Iron plates(check and replace).
      Clogged Main Jet(clean carb)
      Throttle cable.
      Also De-carbonize.
Is Motul feeling good? because I couldn't find it good on my 2005 Unicorn.

Its surely the clutch plates. What's the grade of oil? Is it the regular 15w50 ? Dont go above XXw40.
There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.
