    yamaha r15 heating problem

    My bike is giving me a mileage of 40 but it is gettig heated if droven for about 100 - 250 meters in traffic. On long drives it is getting heated for about 30 - 35 km on non-traffic roads.
    Let me know what can be done to this.. It is not normal for the bike as my frnds bike is normal..

    Advice is a form of nostalgia.
    Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      Replacing oil filter at every service is an option.i did the same and my bike is fine now .If console shows engine overheat get it checked by the dealer,otherwise its fine.Happy motoring

        Usually if you ride R15 at 90+kmph constantlty then it gets heated mildly!!

        In traffic no wonder it gets heated! But once check the radiator !! coolant level and leakage!! or blockage.
