  • Bullet Front Forks Dead

    Hey Guys,
I hav an 86 model 350 which came wid Fury forks (which was done by a guy in Chennai years back). They worked excellently until one day i decided to get my bull altered (yes yes.. iv understood my mistake..!!). Basically i changed my tyres to MRF 140s. Increased the Rake. It seems the mechanic increased the height of the pump shaft by 2.5" to get the height of the forks up. No change to the fork tube though it was pretty worn out. It used to work decently even after the alteration. The problem arised when i got myself a new set of fork tubes. The forks refused to nudge when it was put on the bike. It feels like its jammed or somethin. But they are workin smoothly before they are fitted onto the bike. Even tried with the shorter pump rods which were on before with no avail. Iv also checked the fork oil (10-30). Cant seem to figure wat happened all of a sudden. GUYS PLZ HELP..!! (Haven ridden the bull in months coz of this problem so U can understand hw desperate i am.)
    Later..
    Amith
    P.S- I live in calicut.
