It is true that Silencer is an important part of a bike's performance and mileage. And any functional changes to the stock silencer often messes its "balance".

Coming to your problem, I don't think you need to get it replaced. I've had my Pulsar with a inferior condition stock silencer. The stock silencer started leaking glasswools, and it was not performing optimally after that. But still: I did get acceptable performance and a remarkable 56 kmpl when ridden slow. It was a Pulsar 180cc UG3.

So, if you find professionals/ mechanics who can pull out the dent, go for it. But replacing shouldn't be so necessary as your dent seems a minor one.

100% agreed to Samarth. If you can find someone to pull out the dent then great. If not, no problem. Me to have a dent on my stunner's silencer, (where the muffler is welded) and the dent is almost 5 times wider & 2 times deeper than yours. No problem till date.
