I'm not much of a Bulleteer, but I would like to answer some points:

    2. I don't think its advisable. How can a carburettor jetted and tuned for a 100cc bike match a 350cc bike? Experts will have to chime in, but I don't think its advisable. In fact, even if the bike runs a correct AFR, it most probably will under-perform due to being under-fed in both air and fuel.

    3. It might be possible but you'll have to be very careful about changing the carburettor main jet to suit the extra air flow. And secondly, use this air filter with an airbox only, and not without it. Without an airbox, it will kill your engine as the entire dust is put on the feeble filter...

    4. Your bike is a 350cc. I don't think a silencer made for a 500cc should suit well.

ROTFL.... MAN where do you find these people. Instead of changing the carb, please change your mechanic as soon as possible. Next he might ask you to change to a splendor block.

      1. You will need to change the rear rim in order to put a classic Tyre as the classic rear rim is 18 inch. Yours will be an 19 inch rear rim.

      2. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR CARBURETOR TO A SPLENDOR UNIT. My enfield tech knowledge is limited but i know this much that if its a 2007 model them it must be having a ucal 29mm cv unit. Splendor probably has a 17mm keihin unit. Do the math.

      3. Bullet experts need to answer this. AFIK rc1100 would work if you upjet. As samarth said keep the filter in the box to reduce dust intake.

      4. Again bullet experts need to answer this. I do not think there should be a difference as most companies interchange exhausts between simillar bikes. original Disco 125, 1st gen p150 dtsi and p180 dtsi have interchangeable exhausts.

i am not an bike expert
that's why i am asking does changing carb cause some probs to the engine.(which the mech promised that it won't make any probs)..totally confused

is there any wider tyre available for 19 inch rims ??

Speaking technically, any internal combustion engine will start with any carburetor So if you trust your mech that much then go for it. But my experience tells me its a bad idea to put a carb from a small displacement engine on to a big displacement one under normal circumstances.

You get that silencer for 350.
