5k will do, it will last over 5k under sedate riding conditions, but it's always best not to try out your luck in case of engine oils.

    Change at 5k

    Cheers

With the usage of Motul 7100FS the gear slip problem has reduced drastically.

If your bike has done over 10k kms, always use fully synthetic oil.I suggest Motul 700FS.
Inspect the slackness of the chain and adjust it.Try to lubricate it once 200-300 kms if in rain
or once 500-700kms.Your problem will be rectified.
          Enjoy your ride

How will the chain lubrication help in gear slip problem?

Re: Pulsar 150 gear slip problem

Even I had this problem with my pulsar 150cc DTSi 2011 model. This happened because have not take bike to the service center for so long. However, the problem is fixed with oil change and normal bike service.

No no,i said to adjust the chain by inspecting its slackness.
Lubrication part was said to maintain the life of the chain and the sprocket.
