What is the wattage of the pilots for the zma? 3w? In that case fixing two 5w pilots will extract a total of 4w power from the battery which otherwise could have been used by the headlamp.

How about using white LED? I guess those can be fixed without much hassles along with the correct resistor since the Karizma electrical already runs from the battery.
