  • Questions about Avenger 220

    Hello,

Thinking about getting an A220. Only question is that the electricals on the A220 are not the multi reflector and LED type. So my questions are as follows. Please feel free to answer any or all you have answers to.

    1. Are the headlamps bright enough for highway riding? If you were asked to roughly compare the brightness, where would you rate it? Comparable to a Pulsar? A HH?
1.a How prone are they to failures: Turn indicators breaking, tail lamp dying, etc.

2.The tail lamp is pretty poor in terms of brightness too. Has anyone been able to make it brighter, for obvious reasons of safety?

    3. Also, why is it heavier compared to a P220?

    4. Does installing the windshield help in anyway? How?

    5. I am 5'8". Will it be a stretch to reach the gear/brake levers? (Bajaj dealers dont allow a good testride, hence the question.)

    6. Has anyone been able to install Secondary lamps on the leg guard/crash guard, for better visibility?

    7. Can I install after market alloy wheels, so I can install tubeless tyres?

    8. While reading through a few thread, someone mentioned installing Saferide ABS. Is is proven? Or is it just a gimmick?

I know these are a lot of question, but thanks in advance for taking some time to answer all or few of them.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
