Hi All,

I a new to XBHP and came across this site through Google. I own a Pulsar 200 DTSi 2007 Model, 32000 Kms driven.
I am facing some issues with the bike and would need your guidance to resolve it.

A brief overview before I lay down few questions. I was out of city and haven't driven the bike for 8 months. And the n when I was back, my problems started. Till date I've spent lot on Bike on its repairs and since the wiring got old and there was some earthing issue, I even had to completely replace the wiring. Further I would need your suggestions on the issues am going to list.

1. Fork Bent Issue: I use to feel lot of stress on my left hand whenever I drove the vehicle. On bumps and speed breakers, the bike wasn't smooth and can see visible oil marks on left fork. Gave it for fork bent repair at authorized SVC. After that, the stress is less, but still exists. The cone sets were also replaced. A new problem showed up, The bike vibrates a lot now even at low speeds. I need to know, can a fork bent be repaired completely and where exactly it can be done in Hyderabad.

2. Tyres: My bike has 10+ punctures, am still running it on repairs. The reason I am not able to make a tire replacement is
2.1 The black paint on side of rims has started coming off. Need to know if it can be repainted, who exactly does it, charges and any idea where it can be done in Hyderabad.

2.2. Wheen alignment or wheel checking if it's balanced. Again need to know where exactly these things can be performed in Hyderabad.

2.3 Can I use Pulsar 200 Vyde Rear tyre (the VYDE not the regular one). I was quoted 2450 & 1800 for both Front & rear tyres by a friend. Looking for a good mechanic as well who can replace the tyres properly.

3. Engine: Well, certain issues am facing are with mileage and engine noise. Mileage is low (can say exact after tyre replacement) and engine noise is high. Oil is also leaking but svc mech said he will take care in next svc.

4. Engine Overheating: My bro says, the engine is overheating. I am not able to come to any conclusion. Any guidance on how can I confirm if there's an issue here, would be greatly appreciated.

5. Service details: Need to know what all important things I need to check for servicing. Like for eg, Air Fliter cleaning, Carburator cleaning, brake checks etc. Also let me know which oil is better the local Bajaj brand or Castrol. The problem is, until we dont say to mechanics, they wont check them.

I am sorry for asking so many questions. Appreciate if someone can suggest a good mechanic in Hyderabad, preferably near Hitec City/Miyapur area or Ramkot too.

Also, All services & repairs were done by authorized service center.
