    Need help in choosing knee and elbow guard

    Hello Xbhpians,

    I am novice biker from bangalore - looking forward for a long trip next month. I own a pulsar 220F which I bought last week
    I was searching for safety gear in ebay.in and came across the below listing,

    Biking Elbow & Knee Guard- Set of 4 Pcs-FOX RIDING GEAR | eBay

    Is it worth buying the above? How in general is the genuiness of items we get in ebay? If not this what are your suggestions for a good knee guards?

      I have been using the knee guards since 2 Years and they even saved my knee once. has some scratches due to the slide but a Good buy for the budget.
      after 2Years of use, the elastic straps are getting loose.
      Haven't used the elbow guards as my Riding Jacket serves the purpose.
      you may also try some up-market ones of better quality.
      I bought them from ebay only.

        if you are planning on wearing them in side your pants, then go for it.
        otherwise i'd suggest

            Thanks MotionFreak. I am planning to buy Cramster breezer jacket. I will use the knee guard above the jeans pant only. What's the diff between wearing it on the pants and inside the pants?

              Nothing as such..
              Just that doing the former, will protect ur pants along with ur knees, while the later will only serve the knees..

                With the knee guards inside the pants, you can walk in the Mall, CCD, McD etc w/o raising the caution.

                but these are not Bionic.

                For riding Jacket
                I'd suggest you should take alook at RJays SWIFT same cost as that of breezer, but i find quality is better.
