yes, they have an DFi unit on their 145cc 2 Stroke engine. You can get one from maybe a Bajaj Dealer who deals in the service of these new Autos.

Remember that old autos don't have this Fi unit, so the "Scrap the scrapyard" idea may not work here, if you are thinking of it ...

Otherwise, on internet maybe there are companies selling Fi units for 2 strokes, but maybe they won't deliver it to India usually, and if they do, you will need a Credit Card.

              hey nithin, what's ur project?
and what r u studying?u might get one from bosch.
sumtimes the companies give away components for experimenting.consult them and u might get lucky.
my friend got a gps reception module for free.and these aren't exactly cheap.
but the main concern here is how are u gonna tune it up?
              a carb dosen't need electronics to tune.not so for a f.i
and it sure won't work as a plug and play device.
              u'll need a programmable ecu.and a input device for that ecu.and u'll need curves and a lot.
i am not scaring u saying that u r stepping into shit.this thing should be do-able if u can put gud money and lotsa effort.

Thanks guys for telling about the DFI of bajaj.I haven't thought about it yet. But does that can be adopted for the petrol engine as such.I mean the cng itself is already compressed but the petrol needs to be. My doubt is that is there any pressurising system in it(to my knowledge there isn't. I haven't enquired with dealers yet) which can be adopted for petrol .Otherwise is it possible to incorporate a fuel pump with the system.

Thanks ya for you guys' advices. Thanks a lot.........
But when i contacted the dealers they say that they know nothing about the DFi system,as CNG autos are available only in metros. So anybody please do me a favour. please enquire thedetails of DFI used in the cng autorickshaws(components, which sensors are used ,price ,etc)
