  • 2 months of PULSAR 200NS

HEY FRIENDS ...this is Shaurya Shubham with my pulsar 200 ns ..which is in service center within 2 months of purchase ... It was Saturday I was riding my blue beast with joy and pleasure ... suddenly a rattling sound started coming from my engine ... I went to Bajaj service center ... at my home town... and also talked to Bajaj customer care ... the I got a call from GAYA (Bihar) Shakti Bajaj.. They said that please leave your bike at your hometown we will call that bike to GAYA ... so ... at the time I reached gaya ... my bike was totally dead not even getting started ... they started opening my bike ... after 2 days they said that we think there is problem in crank shaft...WHAT to DO please suggest...Click image for larger version

Topic Approved and moved to Help Section.

Guys, please keep the discussion clean.. Please help the thread starter. Thanks.

@ Shauryashbham: Buddy, claim your warranty and get the bike repaired, no matter how many days it may take. If they say crank is the problem, then get it repaired. After all, getting it repaired under warranty is the only wise thing to do right now. Do revert back as to what happened....

^^ he he he... i like it samarth, nice way to convey, what is not written.

      1) exactly what kind of rattling sound was coming and from where exactly.

      2) do you mean to say, your bike was starting perfectly prior to shakti bajaj and not starting after you took it to shakti bajaj..??

      3) your chain is too dry and dirty.

      4) its very bad your that bike engine is to be opened so soon.

      5) but thanks for providing pictures where we can clearly see-- pressed steel preimeter frame, gearbox and engine head removed for the first time of P200NS.

      6) what is the exact problem with crankshaft that service center is telling you..

anyway, it has to be under warranty and do not pay a single paisa to service center.

at least it's good to see that the SVC has a dedicated stand for the NS. here in kolkata, they use bricks to keep the bike straight..!!

Repair is not the word, have it replaced under warranty and you need to stand your ground on not paying anything, not even the labor charges.

By the looks of it there seems to be no oil and IMO your crank has seased.
Did you have the bike opened in front of you and if so was there engine oil when it was drained?
Was it serviced during the service intervals?

Also its your bike at the end of it all, try to have a basic maintenance check like engine oil level to avoid such situations. Keep us updated.

Opening the engine within 2 months of buying....I wouldn't recommend that. Did they ask you before opening the Engine?? I bet even if its repaired,it wont be like as it was before. These ppl cant fit it as precise as Factory does it and there are a whole lot of chances that many Waste or metal pieces getting inside the Engine as they fit it..It Will lead to poor performance and damage..

Btr Shout at the customer Care and ask them for replacement..

            Gud Luck
