  • Help required in removing spark plugs from Bullet Electra Twin Spark

    Hi Bullet Owners,

This query and request may seem very trivial but I need some help here. I am struggling to remove the spark plugs of my Bullet Electra with the tools provided with the bike. The spark plug spanner along with the long rod is almost useless as it does not offer any grip on the spark plug nut (the hexagonal nut at the base). I have also tried to remove the spark plug with a special wrench tool specially designed for removing spark plugs. The problem I am facing with both options - standard tool set offered with the bike and my special wrench - is that the tools touch the tank and there is no space for the tool to turn around (of course without damaging the tank). I have searched all the threads on this site as well as other sites on any advice to remove the spark plug with no luck. Appreciate if any one who has removed the spark plugs using the default tool set offered with the bike without damaging the tank help me with this "major" task.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

All, I went to a local Bullet mechanic near my place and inquired on the tools that they use for removing the spark plugs. He showed me a very unique spark plug remover that was S shaped (but instead of the curves, it was at 90 degrees near the bends); a perfect and easy way to remove the plugs! He also told me that it is available at JC Road shops. This one is a must have tool for me.

        UCE twinspark plug removal

        Hi Bulleters,

I managed to remove the spark plug on the LHS with the new tool that I have purchased. However, the spark plug on the RHS does not have enough space for any tool (neither the stock tool kit nor the new one that I have purchased) to slide in. Appreciate if any one can point to pictures or videos for removing the spark plugs from a Bullet bike esp. twin spark UCE engine.

have you tried the mini adjustable spanner? Hope this solves your problem. Keep it completely horizontal.
