    Time frame for new bike registration certificate (smart card) in Mumbai?

    Hello,

    My bike was registered with the Mumbai RTO (Andheri) on 2nd Jan 2013, till date I havent recd the registration cert. (smart card) of the same? Generally how many days it take to receive the same? The dealer told me that it would be sent via speed post at my residence. Is there any way to check the status of the same?

    I don't know what the scene is in Mumbai. But I got mine in a week!

      It's around 30-45 days. Got mine after a month.

        it takes more than a month. the receipt which you have can work as RC.
        have you purchased a new bike or transfred it to your name?
        if its new, RC would be provided to you in showroom within a month.

        anyway, ride safe. enjoy ride.
