    I currently own DISCOVER 125 (2006) model.

Its a kick start model and I want to ask whether if I can add a self to my bike.

It all the required space and slots for screws.

but it doesn't have the battery.

What would be the cost for installing it and how well it would function or should i drop the idea as a whole?

    Please be my headlight

    Query Approved
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

It is possible to add a self start. You may need to replace the switchgear with new Discover's switches, though it may not be necessary either. Have it checked with a local mechanic.
If you have a 5AH battery, you need not replace the battery for SS - most of the SS bikes come with 5AH battery as standard. Depending on the instrumentation and quality, you may have to shell out 3-4k - again, do check it out at your local market.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!
