  • Fitting Yamaha R15 V2.0 Fairing into Fazer

    Hello,

I just want to know if this is possible or not. My local mechanic says that he can do it.

But as far as what I can observe, isn't the fairing is a bit low for Fazer. is it possible to fit this in?

    Thank you very much.

    Regards,
    Azfar

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Most probably you can fit this. But merely fitting it is not the problem.
R15 is a liquid cooled engine meanwhile Fazer is an air cooled one, means it has to depend on the air flowing past the engine when the bike runs, to keep the engine from overheating. So if you fit all those fairings it can restrict the free air flow and while riding your engine gets heated up.
You can try the fairings of some other air cooled bike if you are so interested in fairing..
So my advice is, stay away from this mod!!

Please don't do it.You will be cutting the air flow+adding weight+creating more bulkiness.
But in case you really want to do it,go for the faring of v1,seen one, feels ok.Also more ventilation.

Yeah, it does. Just asking though as my friend is interested in doing it. I am not planning to do any modifications yet.

I agree with you. Any suggestion what kind of air cooled bike that has full fairing and can be fitted on fazer?

The v1 looks okay, and I've seen a lot of people doing that nowadays. Some of them travlled to Goa and doesn't have any problems where their engines overheat whatsoever.

            Thanks for all you answers.

Another thing I'd like to ask, I plan to get white beam with the same voltage and power as the stock one. Will this one do?
