  • Blind Spot Mirrors

    Dear Friends,

I want to fix Blind Spot Mirrors in my Yamaha ss 125 bike for better visibility. I daily travel about 60 Kms to and fro in Mumbai W.E. Highway.

Please guide me on the exact position of the same to be fixed on my mirror.

    Rgds,

    Amit

    Query Approved

You have to adjust the mirrors according to your needs. A lil trial and error.

Is it advisable to position the Blind Spot Mirrors on the upper outer side of our mirror or is it better to poisition it in the inner lower side of the mirror?

      Pls suggest.

Someone had done that on his RTR mirror. cant remember who. Ask in the RTR thread. or search it.

Just a wild suggestion, how about fazer's mirrors? looked good to me, feel as if its a screen for rearview.
I have a friend who too, has a p220, he loves the p220 stock mirrors, reason being he loves to see his triceps and admire them

Pulsar 135. Mirrors r too wierd to put on a 220. Fazer's RVM is a good option bt the only concern is the amout of vibration p220 has, i dont think it would stay long.

Blindspot mirrors should be stuck on the extreme ends of the RVMs...but what's the issue with SS125's OE RVMs? I was comfortable with them in city as well as on highways...

true its very useful... in the beginning it may look a bit odd but once you get used to, its very convenient.

Finally got the Blind Spot Mirrors...

@ Shivanshu and bbsrailfan: Totally agree with you that the ss OEM mirrors are useful and do their job neatly. But here on W.e highway there are many insane drivers and riders who come out from nowhere.

Its just for additional safety. nothing else.

Well my bro got the mirrors from his office colleague. he had a set extra in his car. so got it.

                          Still getting used to it.

                          Rgds,
