Whenever I used a synthetic oil, I have always faced the same problem. The shifting would become smooth when I use HH 10W30 oil. Right now I am using the Petronas Sprint 10w40 Synthetic oil. Now I am facing the hard gearshifts again.

I am gonna stick to the HH engine oil from now on wards. The following are the synthetic engine oils I used.

          Motul 300v 5w50 - hard gear shifts
Motul 5100 Technosynthese 5w50 - hard gear shifts
          Valvoline premium 5w 50 semi-synth - hard gear shifts
Petronas Sprint 10w40 - hard gear shifts.

I have also used Veedol Superswift 10w40 semi-synth. It was good. I do not remember any hard gearshifts.

At first I thought, using a w50 oil is causing the hard gearshifts. Now that I am finding hard gearshifts with w40 oil too, I am concluding that a synthetic oil is not good for a Zma. It is my experience, any my personal opinion.

So, where do you stay Deepakumar? If you are in Hyderabad, why do not you meet us. We will see personally what is the problem with your bike's handling.

I regularly visit Vijayawada. My relatives are there. I completed my +2 and graduation there. Had lovely memories there. Will call you when I come down there. Hope you do not mind to pen down your mobile number here. My number is 98480 44123.

I have not tried gulf oil in Karizma. There are people who are using it in other bikes. They said it is good. You can a try and see the difference.

Try the power 1 racing (10w40)... have been using it for the last approx 500 km and the gear shifts are butter smooth (and way better than the HH oil IMHO). stock available at Castrol bike zone sec'bad (near parade grounds)
For immediate sale - PM me for a quote and/or more info - xbox 360 elite edition plus an assortment of game CD's.
