  • Apache RTR 160 4v engine shuts off automatically

While riding and deaccelerating and down shifting gear my bike engine shuts off automatically though clutch is pressed. This does not happen every time but keeps happening. Even the service center guys have no idea what causing the issue. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

If you have the BS6 version, check the GTT system. Maybe it's behaving erratically.

As bike is new, it might happen due to following things
          1. Old or Water contaminated Fuel
          2. Improper voltage/ Current supply, check battery, check spark plug
          3. See any loose air hoses/ pipes of air intake system and Throttle body. Check for rat bites
          4. Throttle body, Air filter(in case of dusty environment). Clean both, reset throttle body
