  • Pulsar 180 gear problem. Doesn't shift at all.

    Hello,

    I have a pulsar 180 2006 model. The problem is with the gears. It doesn't shift at all. I have to keep moving it up and down with my feet (for at least 10-15times) just to get it from one gear to another. I've taken it to mechanics. A few of them just tightened something on the clutch cable which didn't help at all. https://creditcardsupportx.com/bobs-...e-credit-card/ https://creditcardsupportx.com/quicklane-credit-card/ https://creditcardsupportx.com/barne...ay-mastercard/ One of them said that it could either be a problem with my clutch plate, gear lever or both and that it would cost around 400-800.

    What I want to know is;

    1. Is it really a major problem that requires almost 800 bucks? or does it sound like a minor problem that could be fixed with a few tidbits(I don't know a lot about bikes, so there could be a chance they're trying to take a little more money)

    2. If it is a problem with the clutch plate or gear lever, then is 800 rightly priced? Or can I get it done for lesser? Any place in Bangalore that deals with these kinds of problems?

    Thanks
