  • Gixxer Front Brake improvement suggestion.

    Hello Everyone,

Mine is a 2016 Gixxer SF 155. Recently, my front brake has become so spongy. I would have crashed but somehow I am managing with the rear brakes.

Kindly share your suggestions. Should I upgrade to different brake pads or different brake oil and brake line?

Would be great if you could share the links of the product where I can buy.

    Thank you.

Replace the brake oil and make sure system is free from air and water, just make sure brake system is air tight. Do some Google search to learn more about spongy brakes.

I have fixed it by using a new master brake pump and new brake pads which solved it.
        thank you

I would also suggest checking the disc plate wear.
i have replaced mine recently as it was eaten up by the over use of bad brakepads.
Front disc plate needs to have a minimum thickness of 4mm (approx) if its thin than this get it replaced.
