  • Apache RTR 160 4V suspension problem

Hi, I own an RTR 1604V BS-IV. I have had it for the last 2 years. In the recent few months, I have noticed that the roads in Mumbai have gotten worse, but on the other hand, I do have a feeling that my suspension isn't working properly either.

I feel every minor bump on the rear and when I hit the front brake, I hear a mild knocking sound from the forks, almost like the suspension is giving me a jerk on the front instead of being gradual. Also, the bike doesn't sound bassy and thumpy anymore, it's more of a raspy loud noise like an old pulsar. How do I fix these issues?

Hey Ruchir_ezio just carry out general service of front folks (As damping and rebound property changes with respect to viscosity of oil). Just make sure right grade, quality and quantity. Replace the folk oil too as a part of preventive maintenance.
Can't comment about exhaust sound, but make sure engine is running on good quality oil. What can say from my experience is that different oil manufacturer gives different experience of performance and sound.
