  • Carburetor for RX100

To all the RX100 experts out there.. here is some help that I need

My dad has a RX100 from 1996 and it has been working well till earlier this year.

During the heavy monsoon that we had this year, there started the issues. The bike wont start. Got it checked by a local mechanic and it was fixed or so we thought

The bike wont start now with carburetor and mechanic tells that it needs replacing. The bike till now was using the original carb.

The problem is the bike is in Nepal and we dont get any spares for RX there. I stay in Bangalore and my dad has tasked me to get a replacement one. I checked with yamaha and they don't manufacture it now a days.

I need suggestion on which brand and model would be a direct fit for getting the RX100 up to speed. Once there are some pointers I can visit JC Road and get the product hopefully.

Thought to check here first as I don't want to buy something (on shopkeepers) suggestion that it will work with RX and then it comes out to be a dud when I take it to Nepal.

    Thanks in Advance.

Get a 135 carburetor, it would work and is still available.
