    Bigger Rear shock absorber causing steering issues.

    Hello,

    I am using a Electric Vehicle called "7G" made by Pureev. This scooter is quite good but it has horrible suspension on front and rear . ... so I replaced the stock shocx on the rear swing arm with Bajaj Platina and this has improved the ride quality but this also increased the rear height by 3 to 4 inches and another problem it has caused the from steering to behave wierdly.

    I want to any mechanical engineer to help me fix this issue. If anyone wants to talk please contact me on 82488XXXXX

    Obviously, it will cause uneven weight distribution and disturb steering. Did you try a shock from an existing scooter? Platina is not the ideal choice for this.

      All petrol scooters have only one shox at the rear but almost all Electric scooters have two shox at the rear ...just like motorcycles so I opted platina's shox. My main problem on the front end; Seems like the the rake angle got messed up after rear height increase.
