  • Xpulse 2019 vs Xpulse 4V - A Sensible Financial Price?

    Hello

I am looking at used Xpulse 2019 and plan to upgrade it with rally kit (brand new) minus the Maxxis tyres. I will put the 45 tooth (teeth?) rear sprocket, don't care about top speed at all, fine with cruising at 80 km/hr on highways. Need to take this bike to Nepal and all of the North and not sweat about the ground clearance or it's ability to pull through muck.

The issue lies in the fact that financially, the new Xpulse will touch 1.47 lakhs (without the rally kit) and I am looking at a 2019 with 17,000 kilomteres for 95,000. I can save a lot and have money left over.

    What do you guys think?

      Hi Xbhian,

The question you have asked, has asked by many in Ownership Tread of multiple bikes. what I have learned as below

      1. New bikes Service cost and maintenance is low (brakes, tires, chain n sprocket, brake pads and disc etc.. is new)
      2. Insurance Coverage
      3. Bike appearance
      4. Re-sell value
      5. RTO and Insurance cost (for used bike)

      Also,
      1. New bike is updated both in teams of engine and Gearbox, Engine Cooling (2019 is Air Cooled). Which includes Additional Power and Power delivery.
      2. Less vibration and more refined engine (means no frustration).

I hope this this will give you an idea.
