  • RPM meter repair Yamaha SZ

Hi all, I own a Yamaha SZ R 2011 model. Recently my bikes RR unit has become very hot and smoke came from meter console at the same time. I have replaced the RR unit and it is working fine.

But the RPM meter is not working now. The needle vibrates slightly on high acceleration. I have opened the meter and observed that one resister has burnt in the PCB. This is the one big resister where the RPM input is given. I'm not sure is it fusible resister or normal one. And the color code is also not clear.

Please help me if any one know the value of this resister. Sorry I can't post any photo since everything happened a month back and I haven't taken any photos. Thanks a lot in advance.

PS: I have approached a meter repair shop but they are asking to change the PCB. Not interested in repair.
