Continental GT 650
So i bought The continental GT 650 recently and i wanna know when is the best time to change the exhaust for my twin 650? Everyone's say its after 1 year or after 1k km is completed can you please help me out here -
Changing exhaust would tune up the performances if you want to get the best performance from the bike you need to change air filters also recommended filters would be BMC and K&N company air filters if you change both exhaust and air filters you can get the best performance out of this, so as you said your bike is a brand new then it would be recommended to wait for a while and have fun with stock exhaust until the first service gets completed then you can take technician suggestion also, if you still looking for better performance you can change air filter at anytime no problem with that your bike will get better performance and acceleration with it

Congratulations on your new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650!
Regarding when to change the exhaust, there is no set time frame or mileage requirement for changing the exhaust on a motorcycle. It ultimately depends on your personal preference and the performance you're looking to achieve.
If you're interested in changing your exhaust to improve performance or sound, you can do so whenever you feel ready. However, it's important to note that modifying your exhaust may affect your bike's warranty and could also lead to legal issues if the sound level exceeds the legal limit in your area.
If you decide to change your exhaust, make sure to choose a reputable brand and consult with a qualified mechanic to ensure proper installation and performance. Additionally, it's important to consider the environmental impact of aftermarket exhausts and make sure they comply with local emissions regulations.
