  • Paint protection film

Hey Xbhpians! I'm kinda new here and glad to meet y'all! I own Honda CB300F which is a month old and rode 1000kms. I'm keen in my bike's paint maintenance and decided to apply paint protection film. Also I'm from Chennai and specifically here to gain knowledge from the experts and the experienced ones out here.
Things I've added on my bike:
    • Crash guard (Zana)
    • Radiator guard (Zana)
Also I'm planning on adding bar-end mirrors for my bike. If there are any things i should've done for my bike, kindly let me know. As i said earlier, I'm here for expert's advice and so your opinion matters to me the most.
    Do let me know

      Hello there,

I too recently brought a CB300F and was looking to get my bike PPFd, but the tech said that PPF sticks better to metal and it would be a waste of money trying to get PPF done on fiber (the whole bike's body is fiber literally). I just use 3m paint protection and park in the shade. Use a duster instead of a cloth. Also, the tech said since the bike's tank and body have a lot of bends and creases, the PPF would have to be cut into many small pieces s one whole sheet will not stick - it greatly increases the work, and also smaller pieces leave gaps. Let me know if there are any other updates you've got.

ppf is not worth is for motorcycles, especially honda's since they are soft paints. there are several instances of paint peeling off during installation itself.
