  • Fueling problem on Pulsar 150 ug 4.5

    Hi fellow bikers,
I am having trouble with my 2010 model pulsar 150 ug 4.5. Initially it refused to idle properly. On mechanics advice I got carburetor changed. Servicing was carried out, air filter and oil changed. Still the bike refuses to start without throttle input. Engine dies if I pull the choke. Seems that air is less but runs fine once engine is warmed up. Top speed is nearly 110 on speedo. I tried to reduce the fuel supply but bike stopped even crossing 90kmph, so had to revert back to factory settings of the new carb. The new carb is oem replacement part. I can't single out any reason for this odd behaviour. Please help me. Any help would be welcome.

Mods till date: All pilot lamps changed to LEDs, and running philips xtremevision 55/60w since last 6 years. No problem till date except engine has to be kept above 3k rpm to keep the battery charged.
