Hi all,

I have a driving licence with only MCWG as a class of vehicle. Due to some reason, I need to surrender it completely. It'll be a voluntary surrender. I went through the rules and there is a Form 8 through which one can surrender classes.

Also on Sarathi website the facility is available but not for someone who wants to surrender entirely but partially.

I want to know has somebody ever done this before? If yes then what has the experience been? I'm from Mumbai but PAN India experiences are welcome since licensing is now anyway nationalised.
