yamaha fazer rear tyre cover or mudguard or hugger....

  • yamaha fazer rear tyre cover or mudguard or hugger....

    i was thinking if we can do away with the extra attached rear tail fender on fazer's n fz's if we could bring in a cover ala duke200 or 200ns on our fz and fazer...the extra tail fender doesnt look great when compared to the old fender which it used to come before 2010...attaching a pic of duke 200 rear tyre cover...can we fix this on fz or fazer???Click image for larger version

        The dukes hugger would be much easier to fit and would look good.. It was discussed in the fz ownership thread sometimes back.. You can search the thread for better info..
        In comparision to the pulsar's hugger, the one on the duke needs only few modifications to it and would need only to bolts to fit and some drilling in the hugger rods..

          I am new to xbhp forum and I bought my fzs fi v2 just 2 months ago. It has a very bad fender too big for a fz. I decieded to install a tail tidy and tried it myself. I succeeded and made a video here. https://youtu.be/mhAcOY9o8sw

          Then this month was monsoon and I forgot to say am from madurai. My bae got totally full mud on the back and looked crappy. So I tried and googled for rear huggers of ns200.thats when u found this post so decided to try out. I bought the ns200 hugger from a bajaj showroom for 525 inr and successfully installed it with no holes or alteration. Just small alters which we can do ourself. I hope I have found a solution for the thread. Though sorry for the long story will try to make it short next time. 😳
