Mods for using R15 v1 rear tyre in an rx

i am planning to use the rear tyre from r15 v1 (100/80-17) in an rx , i have a doubt regarding the size of spokes to be used , the stock ones are too long for the 17 inch rim , Has anybody carried out this modification before , if so please help by providing the details
