Is it possible without any harmful effect.
I want to do this because I live in Bangladesh and here bikes over 153cc are not allowed. So this is the only one option I got. Please give valuable and experienced remark. I am serious so please help me.

Another option for me to manage a Karizma R and then change the body parts. Installing all the body parts of CBZ Xtreme to look it like exactly CBZ. Please help me which option would be better.

Re: Installing Karizma Engine in CBZ Xtreme!!!

      hello all experts,

i am really interested in designing a bike with the following features by taking the best of all worlds. i love the engine of the KTM Duke 200 and the Pulsar 200 NS. however, these 2 bikes aren't good for commuting and also cause heavy inconvenience to the pillion rider. on those terms, the body/chassis or a P150/P180 or a Yamaha FZ is quite comfortable. my wife agrees with this and she has felt really comfortable on the long rides when done with these bikes. but, the engine on P150/P180 or a FZ doesn't make me happy. hence, i was planning to plonk engine of a Duke 200 or a 200NS on a P150/P180 or a Yamaha FZ. kindly provide your valuable suggestions. i know that this bike wouldn't be street legal and there is no way RTO would agree to get this registered. but, i still want to make this bike for my own.

First the mounting points of engine/ chassis is completely different. Second, the P150 body and chassis design is antique now and cant handle the power of duke 200, you are definitely looking for trouble if you try to make use of D200 engine potential. The handling of P150 is nowhere near the Duke/ 200ns.
If its the pillion inconvenience of duke/200ns you are looking at then why not try the P220? its still on sale which has same seating as P180 with better goodies like powerful engine, projectors, oil cooling, semi-fairing (for touring) etc. The effort you are looking it is really not worth it.

so, my worst fear has come true with mounting points not matching. i did look at the P220, but it doesn't have the power which a D200/200NS delivers. also, as a personal choice, i dont enjoy semi faired bikes. it has to be full or nothing (i even rebuilt my P150 UG1 to stock with the round dome). hence, the thought of swapping engines came to my mind.
i just somehow love the looks of the P150/P180 and FZ as compared to the naked looks of P200NS and Duke200. it's completely a personal choice, but really hate their power output. is there any bike in market whose chassis can handle that engine? i just wish that this dream can be fulfilled.
