Do not accelerate when trying to kick start.

        1) Turn the ignition key on

        2) Put your foot on the kickstarter. On the UCE engines the amp meter won't flick over when the piston is at top dead center (TDC), so you'll have to feel manually. Not a problem. Kick through gently and slowly. You should hear the engine hiss a little. You should feel a sudden pressure from the kickstarter, almost enough resistance to stand on.
You've found top dead center. Push the kicker through a tiny bit more until you feel the resistance just give way. Then stop.

        3) Release the kickstart to the top of it's arc, and then give it a good smooth kick all the way through. You don't want to just kick *down* but through the whole cycle-- try to aim your foot under the front footpeg, if that makes any sense. Should start right up.

Make sure the side stand is not engaged. Hope it helps.. Practice for some time, then youll get used to this technique.. All the best and happy thumping.

Hi All, I have a Classic 350 2011 model. Would like to know if it is feasible to install a NGK plug. If yes what is the model #.
