    Please advis eme ... when to take first PUC in Delhi...

    I have got ownership of Pulsar 200 NS on June 2013 in New Delhi. Still I don't have idea when to take first PUC in New Delhi. I have got several advises like - someone said its after 3rd month, somebody said after 6 months, etc.... got confused... . As per Delhi Transport Deptt. site "After the expiry of period of one year from the date of first registration, every motor vehicle is required to carry a valid PUC Certificate" (Transport).

    Can someone please advise me when should I take my first PUC ... after 6th month or on 1 year?
    Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride. . . .

    In UP it was six months. But out here am not sure. We also got PUCs for 6 months, here PUCs are valid for just 3 months.
    Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      I asked different pollution testing points of Delhi... and got different answers. Only one center told me not to hurry till 1 year.... also I came to know that for new cars in Delhi PUC not required for first year from the registration date.... but not sure for bikes...

        Bikes and cars will have the same.

        The problem in India, is not what the law says, but what the copper says when he stops you to check your papers. If he tells you that 6 months after your purchase you need to get a PUC and he is going to fine you for not having that, then he will fine you. Irrespective of whether you are in the right or not.

        So to have peace of mind, just get a PUC made...

            Just get one right now, costs like 50 bucks and is easy to get.
