  • What will happen if overhauling is not done?

I own a Yamaha Gladiator which has run for 70k+. For the past 3 months, I've been running it without having the overhauling done, even though it is asking for it. The reason is that I've booked a new GS150r, and I'm planning to sell my Glady.
Is is better to get the overhauling done, and sell the bike? Or, will I get a reasonable offer without getting the overhaul done?

Another query is that, my bike is registered in Karnataka and I'm in Andhra Pradesh now. To sell the bike in A.P., it looks like there is a long process of NOC, RC state transfer and RC ownership transfer. Is it better to sell the bike in Karnataka?

    Query Approved
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      1. Yes, get the overhaul done. Why sell a defective bike to an unsuspecting buyer? Else, drop 10-15k from your asking price while selling and mention that it needs an overhaul.
      2. Keeping in mind the formalities for vehicle's transfer of registration, it is better you find a buyer in KA.

      All the best.

        Thank you bro!

That's what I've initially thought (to get the overhauling done before selling), but, it seems like even after getting the overhauling done, I might not get more than 15k for this even in Karnataka. So, instead, I'm planning to give the bike to one of my relatives. Anyway, I still have to get my new bike. So, will confirm what has to be done in the mean time.
