hey guys ,
my throttle had got stuck on my 350 CI , at first i thought it was to do with the cable , so called this guy Praveen from Natraj Bullet shop (near IFFCO Chowk) , he was the closest that i had .
he had a look and feel and told me the float pin on the carb had problem , so he ahs corrected it temporally , and asked to change the carb , i was anyway planning to change it to a Mikuni Carbs.
i requested for a complete feel and look , and he pointed out that my valves and pistons were week , so he asked for a change , with i think they are , also oil leak from my timing cover had a stop gap arrangement for the nut , so he reco a change of whole part
so suddenly i an looking at a 10-15k hit !!
Now the questions
1)Any one has had any interaction with the above said mech ? good/ bad/ indifferent ? any one had their bike done by him
2)if not him than any one else , kindly restrict it it gurgaon or close by as of now , as i really cant travel far for the mechanic
3)any reco on the kind of work that i need to get done , ie where to source the parts , especially the carb ( very imp ) , expected cost etc
4)any other pointer are always welcome
