    2007 honda cbr600rr vs 2008 honda cbr600rr

    hi guys,
    i want to know if there are any changes between the honda cbr600(2007 model) & the cbr600rr(2008 model)?? are there any differences in them technically or cosmetically?? if yes how do i know if its a 07 or 08 model??

      You have an option of ABS in 2009 version, where in 2008 you dont have it.
      There are Bikers

        Well, 07' & '08 models are both of the 3rd generation CBR 600 as BI informs me ...

        They say it's same technically, but I'll check out again in Bike India, and I'll let you know soon.


        In the meantime, if anyone has that BI issue, or has practical knowledge, Please share ...

          yes the 09 model has that option but i want to know abt the differences between the 07 & 08 models..

            well as much i've read.. the 2008 has better sitting position in compared to the 2007.. also the swing arm is a bit longer than the 07..

            Talking about looks.. i like the old 1 more.. but still the 2008 looks are quite refreshing. I liked the air intake scoop between the headlight assembly on the 2008(2007 doesn't have it)

              the 2007 cbr600rr has an air intake scoop i think...

                yea they do have scoops but not on the front part of the fairing ie, between the headlights.

                      US/Europe?? as the color schemes are different in both markets

                        New color schemes only , From looks no possible way to figure out 2007 from 2008 ,
                        vis 2006 - a lot lot,
                        2007 is identifiable with the famous Honda Steering Damper (the fuel tank has a small right nudge near the handle at the upper tip to cover the steering links )

                        technically 2007/08 version is unchanged throughout, new changes happened again 2009
