  • Activa Valve Clearance

    Hi friends,

I am stuck up with my mom's activa now. The head was reconditioned 3 times with new valves, oil seal and once changed the guide. since I was having problems again I changed the valve(OE) and got it seated well. Still my mechanic is not able to get the valves in the correct clearance since he manually does. I would like to know if anyone could help with the amount of clearance I must keep for the intake and exhaust valves.

JIST:Need valve clearance level for activa

    P.S I own a 2008 activa

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Manual says 0.14 mm clearance on both inlet and outlet side. You have old model of activa 102cc.

I recommend to set clearance 0.10mm at inlet and 0.14mm at outlet.

Use a feeler gauge to set the clearances. Mechanic will never use it because they are allergic to it

You will find the procedure in DIY section and If you are comfortable with it then go ahead otherwise take help of your mechanic and teach him using the feeler gauge.
