Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

        Re: Chroming parts

Watch out, sometimes the chrome plating itself costs more than the price of the spares. So unless it is a vintage where sourcing of the parts can be compared to treasure hunting, you should not opt for it. Also sometimes the quality of the chroming is not up to the standard, so choose judiciously. I can not give info regarding the a good place to get the jib done in Pune as I am not from there, members from Pune area should be able to help you.
        I am back!

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin".

Chrome plating, often referred to simply as chrome, is a technique of electroplating a thin layer of chromium onto a metal or plastic object. The chromed layer can be decorative, provide corrosion resistance, ease cleaning procedures, or increase surface hardness.

Power coating and chrome both last quite a while, but both need to be take good care, as chrome can handle scratches pretty well, but power coating won't. But that doesn't mean PC is any way inferior than chrome. In any case, adequate care at the right time keep them good and shining.
