I own a Bajaj Discover 125T, hardly a month old (first service is still due, planning to take to the SVC tomorrow). It has completed 150 kilometers without fail (other than a minor issue with the fork seals, which was fixed earlier). But yesterday after a 12km ride in the morning, I found a drop or two of thick brown liquid on the floor and on the exhaust pipe in the evening. I found out that the engine oil was leaking from the bottom of the engine (there was no damage or cracks or anything, the oil leaked from the 'line' of joint. I don't know what to call it exactly. Like it leaked from the line in the middle of the bottom which is formed by the two sides of engine joined together and there is some gasket like thing in between, probably there to avoid any leakage). I wiped it off and checked after 8 hours or something, and there was nothing this time.
I admit that I am a newbie (you probably know it already
) and this is the first thing that I can actually call 'my bike', and I don't have much idea about this. I didn't had an accident or anything and I have no idea about what happened and why. I've heard that such leaks are normal. So my first question is, are such leaks really normal? If they aren't, It would be really helpful if any of you folks could tell me what needs to be done to fix it. I don't think taking it to the SVC with no clue about what's going to happen will be a great idea. Actually, I need some general knowledge about this stuff
Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks for giving your time! and sorry for my bad knowledge and explanatory skills.

You probably went to the Dudhwa National Park or Nepal. Both are hardly at an hour's distance from where I reside.
