Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

1.The 200ns headlight won't justify overall looks of bike. If you want a change of taste, have 220 headlight setup with faring in your bike.
      2. Iridum plugs and wires won't make difference with respect to price.
3.don't know about old 200's tyres, but a thicker tyre will in general affect the mileage, like from 2-5kmpl loss.
4.yoshimura, aprakovic good exhausts WILL COST MORE THAN YOUR CURRENT BIKE'S WORTH. you want bassy noise, get a local 2-4k exhaust. Make sure fitting is done properly and afr ratios mended as per change.
Never do any engine mods on your bike. 99.99% you'll regret it your whole life. Instead of spending 10-40k on performance mods, sell your bike and get a 200ns or duke 200.

Change of exhaust affects engine too. Local dabba cans would kill it.

May be, yes sir but I've seen many dabba bikes running 20k, who cares when bike is so much old. We have to bear it as we don't have any other alternative to bring that spark back to life which our bike had when it was new.

If it's black pulsar, get your rims coloured in parrot green.
Get white stickers along front headlight.
              Get p220 headlight setup.

Re: Bikers I need your HELP in modiing my P200DTSI

Nice to hear about your well maintained 200

Try some cosmetic mods, rather than Performance mods. (If you love your bike)
If you want to keep the bike with Naked looks: instead of single round headlight try dual round headlights they look killer / you could also try the FZ's/200ns headlight if you are into it.
Remove the back mudguard and try fitting a 200ns number plate and 200ns/r15's tyre hugger. Or try fitting the number plate on the rear tyre hugger itself, like Ducati Diavel.
Try changing brake levers to metal/chrome ones with good quality, they do look apart.
You could also change the footpegs to 200ns' ones : they look pretty sporty.
Spark plugs : Regarding the NGK Iridium spark plugs it might cost you around 6-700/- (forgot the exact price)
Tyre : You could go for a R15's 130/70 rear tyre instead of 140 as the Revz-s has a rounder profile and would not affect your bike's mileage/performance.
Exhaust : I would not recommend you to change the exhaust, the big cylinder exhaust is the one which makes 200/220 look apart from the 180. It does look good too.

P.S: these are the cosmetic mods which i was thinking of trying on my 220, except for headlight.

Re: Bikers I need your HELP in modiing my P200DTSI

Karan, please DO NOT mess around with the exhaust if you want a "sound like a sports bike"......coz only a multicylinder bike can sound like a sportsbike. You'll just end up wasting money, time and all you get will be an obscenely loud sound. Not to mention new problems with the engine, fuel efficiency, reliability and cops...

Your post caught my attention as I'm a 2008 P200 owner too. I indulged in a few electric mods myself and had to wait for months and spend 1000s to get it right- rewinding stator coil, changing the RR, modify wiring and putting a 55/60 W bulb.
If you know a good, professional mechanic (very imp factor else a mech wilth half-knowledge will ruin your bike- like many here in Bombay) who can convert from AC to DC, you can go ahead and try the same. Then you can use a higher wattage Osram NB or Philips XV bulb in the existing headlight
And if you want to change the front look, Instead of NS or 220, I think the Apache RTR's new headlight assembly with the LED lights will best suit your bike
The man who designed the Tower of Pisa was the First Biker ever...
