Planning to do saddle sore 1600k with my Fz16 which is 10,000kms.old... Riders I need help: what are all the troubles may come for bike while riding as well as after ride ? Since it doesn't have oil cooling is it good to stick with my plan? I read someone has done with pulsar135 but I'm seriously concerned about my bike I don't wanna take it to pit stop so often!?

    Query Approved.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

There is a Saddle sore success story of a member here on xBhp and he rode a FZ-16.
      Try to search for it.
The bike is very capable of doing such feat. But the main concern is for the rider himself. Doing such things in our country is very dangerous.
On the other hand, many have done this.
So upto you whether to try such thing or not
      All the best.

Remeber that the thing which you are going to do is just for a piece of paper with a high risk along with physical as well as mental stress. Just a suggestion that think once again.
        After all its your call.

In my opinion Fz16 should not give any problem while or after riding. Im not not a FZ owner. Mine is P150 dtsi. Few days back i went for a ride from pune to rameshwaram. For some reason I needed to ride for 22 hours and covered around 1200kms. Following mods are needed for better performance of bike on long rides : 1. NGK iridium spark plug and 2. Motul oil (semi synthetic or synthetic). Tried n tested.

saddle sore ain't simple as it looks like. i do not wish to de-rail you from your dream/passion but think about it again. its India and not USA. roads are filled with idiots.
its just a certificate as FM mentioned. still if you wanna stick to it below are the pointers.

bike should be under optimal running condition

          a. oil new and to correct level.
          b. brakes working
          c. check bike for handle wobble at high speed . loose conset/ forks alignment.
          d. should have good life remaining and gripping well with correct air pressure.
          e. keep energy drinks plus snacks.
          f. sleep well before doing a long ride.
          g. plan accordingly for fuel stops and proofs.
          h. if fatigue creep in/tired/drowsy also take a few power naps.
          i. always be focused on road and dont divert mind in anything else. its a high speed run and can be fatal.
          j. atleast 10 hours of ride will be in dark. make sure headlamp works. keep spare bulb.
          k. chain lubed and running at correct slack.
          l. good helmet with clean/clear visor and other crash protectors. (knee/elbow/chest guards /gloves/riding shoes)

Give it a thought again. if its just a sudden urge try to cope up with it. joy of motorcycling is in traveling and enjoying the ride and the natural beauty around and not trying to prove to anybody. if you still wanna go ahead and do it.. best wishes from my end..

          do well.. ride safe..

Saddle sore is just not about the ride....I believe it is about the rider too...
Do it for your passion...not to prove anything to anyone...
Go with an open mind...if you achieve...Great...If you do not...it's still great...because, my friend you got an opportunity to ride for at least 1K
All the best...Do not compromise yours and others safety...nothing is paramount to safety
