Carb Options for Royal Enfield Thunderbird avl 350
Hey all! I've done a lot of searching online regarding carburetor for Royal Enfield Thunderbird avl 350.Have failed to find out proper results. The stock Ucal Mikuni Bs 26 Carb lacks the crisp throttle response and I was thinking of getting a bigger carburetor for my bike! What I want to know is can I achieve good results by up jetting the Bs 26 with bigger jets or should i go ahead with the Bs 32 or Bs 29 carb.I heard the Vm 28 carb used on the CI 500 has amazing throttle response yet I want to stick to CV carbs like the Mikuni Ucal ones.Inputs here would be appreciated! Also I heard the Tbts and all the new Uce Bikes have the Bs 29 carb as stock carburetor! So sourcing that and fitting it might be good option? Please throw some light on this. Thanks!Tags: None

Re: Carb Options for Royal Enfield Thunderbird avl 350
Tighter the carb, better the acceleration, Try playing with jets. Can't say how much will an RE gain on acceleration with this assuming it to be a long stroked motorbike. You can try P180's BS29 with smaller jets, the stock jets of that carb will be too big when compared to RE's stock jets. PS: Why dont you try a carb whose fueling is similar to GT535(its FI though)?
